Net profit up 3% in Q3FY2025


' The income from operation of Bajaj Finserv increased 9.25% to Rs 31306.53 crore in Q3FY2025. Overall OPM has increased to 39.52% in Q3FY2025 from 36.43% in Q3FY2024, leading to 18.54% rise in operating profit to Rs 12,373.18 crore. Other expenditure as a percentage of total income moved down to 44.36% from 49.96% in Q3FY2025. The staff cost as a percentage of total income increased to 9.64% from 9.29% in Q3FY2025. The provisions as percentage of total income increased to 6.48% from 4.32% in Q3FY2025. Interest cost increased 31.40% to Rs 6276.27 crore. Depreciation moved up 24.31% to Rs 288.5 crore. PBT moved up 6.98% to Rs 5,808.41 crore.

The effective tax rate declined to 24.10% in Q3FY2025 compared to 25.52% in Q3FY2024..Provision for tax was expense of Rs 1399.62 crore, compared to Rs 1385.66 crore. Profit after tax rose 9.03% to Rs 4,408.79 crore.

There was profit attributable to non-controlling interest of Rs 2,180.89 crore as compared to Rs 1,887.6...
