Avantel

Sales up 19%, net up 23%


'Consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of Avantel for the quarter ended Dec 2024 has increased 19.13% to Rs 70.68 crore.  Operating profit margin has jumped from 41.19% to 45.33%, leading to 31.10% rise in operating profit to Rs 32.04 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 28.04% to 33.86%.   Employee cost increased from 15.67% to 16.73%.   Other expenses fell from 14.01% to 11.32%.   

Other income rose 41.67% to Rs 0.51 crore.  PBIDT rose 31.25% to Rs 32.55 crore.  Provision for interest rose 17.24% to Rs 1.02 crore.  PBDT rose 31.76% to Rs 31.53 crore.  Provision for depreciation rose 65.76% to Rs 3.05 crore.  Profit before tax grew 28.93% to Rs 28.48 crore.  Share of profit/loss were nil in both the periods.  Provision for tax was expense of Rs 8.4 crore, compared to Rs 5.77 crore.  Effective ...
