Sales up 43%, OPM down 110 bps


'Consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of Avantel for the quarter ended Sep 2024 has increased 42.50% to Rs 77.42 crore.  Operating profit margin has declined from 45.92% to 44.81%, leading to 39.04% rise in operating profit to Rs 34.69 crore.  


Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 25.86% to 29.85%.   Employee cost increased from 16.13% to 18.62%.   Sharp rise in employee cost is largely as it include  Rs 3.6748 crore on account of ESOP, 2023 for the quarter ending September 30, 2024 Other expenses fell from 12.36% to 11.35%.   

Other income rose 22.50% to Rs 0.49 crore.  PBIDT rose 38.78% to Rs 35.18 crore.  Provision for interest fell 52.32% to Rs 0.72 crore.  PBDT rose 44.55% to Rs 34.46 crore.  Provision for depreciation rose 80.49% to Rs 2.96 crore.
