Net sales (including other operating income) of Alkem Laboratories has increased 1.52% to Rs 3374.28 crore. Operating profit margin has jumped from 21.29% to 22.51%, leading to 7.32% rise in operating profit to Rs 759.39 crore. Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 25.27% to 26.47%. Purchase of finished goods cost fell from 13.89% to 11.38%. Employee cost increased from 17.24% to 17.90%. Other expenses rose from 22.29% to 22.51%.
Other income fell 0.69% to Rs 92.99 crore. PBIDT rose 6.38% to Rs 852.38 crore. Provision for interest rose 41.52% to Rs 36.03 crore.
PBDT rose 5.23% to Rs 816.35 crore. Provision for depreciation rose 22.60% to Rs 85.28 crore.
