'For quarter ending June 2024, consolidated Net sales (including other operating income) of Alkem Laboratories has increased 2.16% to Rs 3031.82 crore compared to quarter ended June 2023. Operating profit margin has jumped from 13.11% to 20.08%, leading to 56.39% rise in operating profit to Rs 608.64 crore. Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) decreased from 28.15% to 26.36%. Purchase of finished goods cost rose from 12.02% to 12.05%. Employee cost decreased from 19.20% to 18.97%. Other expenses fell from 27.47% to 23.46%.
Other income rose 82.73% to Rs 120.31 crore. PBIDT rose 60.20% to Rs 728.95 crore. Provision for interest fell 2.22% to Rs 29.11 crore.
PBDT rose 64.57% to Rs 699.84 crore. Provision for depreciation rose 11.14% to Rs 80.48 crore.
