Net down 16% with OPM skid 270 bps


'Standalone net sales (including other operating income) of Ador Welding for the quarter ended Dec 2023 has increased 11.59% to Rs 221.54 crore.  Operating profit margin has declined from 12.10% to 9.40%, leading to 13.32% decline in operating profit to Rs 20.83 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 65.40% to 65.85%.   Purchase of finished goods cost fell from 3.24% to 2.70%.   Employee cost increased from 6.71% to 7.97%.   Other expenses rose from 13.29% to 14.61%.   Other income up 56.59% to Rs 2.85 crore.  PBIDT fell 8.39% to Rs 23.68 crore.  Provision for interest up 43.42% to Rs 1.09 crore.  PBDT fell 9.96% to Rs 22.59 crore.  Provision for depreciation rose 15.92% to Rs 3.35 crore.  Profit before tax down 13.33% to Rs 19.24 crore.  Provision for tax was expense of Rs 5.54 crore, compared to Rs 5.63 crore.  Effective...
