Adani Power

Sales up 36%, net down 55%


'Consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of Adani Power for the quarter ended Jun 2024 has increased 35.89% to Rs 14955.63 crore.  Operating profit margin has jumped from 31.93% to 41.42%, leading to 76.26% rise in operating profit to Rs 6,194.31 crore.  Purchase of finished goods cost fell from 0.21% to 0.07%.   Employee cost increased from 1.37% to 1.42%.   Other expenses fell from 66.48% to 57.09%.   Power and Oil fuel cost fell from 61.44% to 52.81%.   Other direct service cost fell from 1.15% to 0.89%.   

Other income fell 92.70% to Rs 518.32 crore.  PBIDT fell 36.78% to Rs 6712.63 crore.  Provision for interest fell 8.15% to Rs 811.49 crore.  

PBDT fell 39.38% to Rs 5901.14 crore.  Provision for depreciation rose 6.53% to Rs 995.63 crore.
