Net sales (including other operating income) of Nuvoco Vistas Corporation has
increased 12.12% to Rs 2701.27 crore. Sales of Cement segment has
gone up 12.43% to Rs 2,455.83 crore (accounting for 90.54% of total
sales). Sales of Ready Mix conrete and Others segment has gone up
4.76% to Rs 256.51 crore (accounting for 9.46% of total
sales). Inter-segment sales came down from Rs 19.73 crore to Rs
11.07 crore.
Profit before interest,
tax and other unallocable items (PBIT) has jumped 292.54% to Rs 160.43
crore. PBIT of Cement segment rose 297.21% to Rs 166.43 crore
(accounting for 103.74% of total PBIT). PBIT of Ready Mix conrete
and Others segment fell 482.52% to Rs -6.00 crore (accounting for -3.74% of
total PBIT).
