Voltamp Transformers

Net down 22% on lower OPM & lower OI


'Standalone net sales (including other operating income) of Voltamp Transformers for the quarter ended Dec 2024 has increased 18.37% to Rs 483.52 crore.  Operating profit margin has declined from 25.66% to 20.49%, leading to 5.51% decline in operating profit to Rs 99.05 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 68.19% to 72.08%.   Employee cost decreased from 2.77% to 2.70%.   Other expenses rose from 4.62% to 5.61%.   

Other income fell 72.38% to Rs 6.85 crore.  PBIDT fell 18.31% to Rs 105.9 crore.  Provision for interest up 21.43% to Rs 0.34 crore.  

PBDT fell 18.39% to Rs 105.56 crore.  Provision for depreciation rose 14.53% to Rs 3.39 crore.  

Profit before tax down 19.16% to Rs 102.17 crore.  Provision for tax was expense of Rs 28.77 crore, compared to Rs 31.78 crore.  Effective tax rate was 28.16% com...
