Net profit up 69.2% YoY to Rs 52.8 crore in Q3FY2026


'On consolidated basis

Quarter ended December 2025 compared with Quarter ended December 2024.

Net sales (including other operating income) of Birla Corporation has declined 4.34% to Rs 2158.74 crore.  Sales of Cement segment has gone down 5.99% to Rs 2,026.55 crore (accounting for 93.75% of total sales).  Sales of Jute segment has gone up 30.92% to Rs 132.56 crore (accounting for 6.13% of total sales).  Sales of Others segment rose 98.46% to Rs 2.58 crore (accounting for 0.12% of total sales).  Inter-segment sales rose Rs 1.48 crore to Rs 2.95 crore.  

Profit before interest, tax and other unallocable items (PBIT) has jumped 18.48% to Rs 159.21 crore.  PBIT of Cement segment rose 17.09% to Rs 164.53 crore (accounting for 103.34% of total PBIT).  PBIT of Jute segment rose 29.54% to Rs -3.84 crore (accounting for -2.41% of total PBIT).  PBIT of O...
