Sales up 54%, net up 74%


Consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of WPIL for the quarter ended Sep 2024 has increased 54.01% to Rs 490.89 crore.  Sales of Pumps and Accessories segment has gone up 29.32% to Rs 244.24 crore (accounting for 49.75% of total sales).  Sales of Project (Works Contract) segment has gone up 89.92% to Rs 246.65 crore (accounting for 50.25% of total sales).  Profit before interest, tax and other unallocable items (PBIT) has jumped 43.89% to Rs 118.03 crore.  PBIT of Pumps and Accessories segment rose 53.50% to Rs 69.56 crore (accounting for 58.94% of total PBIT).  PBIT of Project (Works Contract) segment rose 32.03% to Rs 48.47 crore (accounting for 41.06% of total PBIT).  

PBIT margin of Pumps and Accessories segment rose from 23.99% to 28.48%.  PBIT margin of Project (Works Contract) segment fell from 28.26% to 19.65%.  Overall PBIT margin fell from 25.73% to 24.0...
