Net down 14% dragged down by lower sales and OPM


'Consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of Wendt India for quarter ended Dec 2024  has declined 2.02% to Rs 53.4 crore.  Operating profit margin has declined from 24.33% to 20.64%, leading to 16.89% decline in operating profit to Rs 11.02 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) decreased from 30.53% to 27.33%.   Purchase of finished goods cost fell from 6.93% to 6.54%.   Employee cost increased from 17.22% to 20.89%.   Other expenses rose from 21.56% to 23.98%.   Other income rose 5.49% to Rs 1.92 crore.  PBIDT fell 14.19% to Rs 12.94 crore.  Provision for interest remained nil.  PBDT fell 14.26% to Rs 12.93 crore.  Provision for depreciation rose 10% to Rs 2.31 crore.  

Profit before tax down 18.18% to Rs 10.62 crore.  Share of profit/loss were nil in both the periods.  Provision for tax was expense of...
