consolidated net sales declined 27.72% to Rs 9887 crore during Q3FY24 compared
to Q3FY23. Sales of Non Agro segment has
gone down 9.25% to Rs 520.00 crore (accounting for 5.23% of total sales). Sales of Crop Protection segment fell 30.68%
to Rs 8,495.00 crore (accounting for 85.41% of total sales). Sales of Seeds Business segment has gone up
2.08% to Rs 931.00 crore (accounting for 9.36% of total sales). Inter-segment sales came down from Rs 62.00
crore to Rs 58.00 crore.
Revenue
and EBITDA for Q3 continued to be impacted by global channel destocking and
ongoing pricing pressure in post patent space exacerbated by higher rebates.
Operating
profit margin has declined from 21.08% to 0.94%, leading to 96.78% decline in
operating profit to Rs 93.00 crore.
