'Net
sales (including other operating income) of United Breweries has increased
8.89% to Rs 2322.98 crore. Sales of Beer
segment has gone down 7.53% to Rs 4,423.87 crore (accounting for 99.93% of
total sales). Sales of Non-Alcoholic
Beverages segment has gone down 24.42% to Rs 3.28 crore (accounting for 0.07%
of total sales).
Volume
in Q4 increased 5% despite temporary suspension in Telangana & industry
wide challenges from duty structure changes in Karnataka.
The
company premium portfolio grew by 24% in the quarter, ahead of the segment.
Within premium portfolio, the company sees strong growth from Kingfisher Ultra,
Kingfisher Ultra Max & HeinekenĀ® Silver. After receiving an overwhelming
response in Maharashtra and West Bengal, it also introduced Amstel Grande in
Uttar Pradesh, a vibrant market with a growing demand for premium beverages.
