'For quarter ending Sept 2024, consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of Tata Consumer Products has increased 12.87% to Rs 4214.45 crore compared to quarter ended Sept 2023. Sales of Branded Business segment has gone up 12.45% to Rs 3,771.20 crore (accounting for 89.08% of total sales). Sales of Non Branded Business segment has gone up 19.06% to Rs 462.28 crore (accounting for 10.92% of total sales). Inter-segment sales rose Rs 23.20 crore to Rs 28.96 crore.
Profit before interest, tax and other unallocable items (PBIT) has jumped 6.82% to Rs 516.50 crore. PBIT of Branded Business segment fell 3.77% to Rs 410.37 crore (accounting for 79.45% of total PBIT). PBIT of Non Branded Business segment rose 85.83% to Rs 106.13 crore (accounting for 20.55% of total PBIT).
