'For quarter ending June 2024, consolidated Net sales (including other operating income) of Tata Consumer Products has increased 16.33% to Rs 4352.07 crore compared to quarter ended June 2023. Sales of Branded Business segment has gone up 14.49% to Rs 3,861.51 crore (accounting for 88.52% of total sales). Sales of Non Branded Business segment has gone up 32.76% to Rs 500.58 crore (accounting for 11.48% of total sales). Inter-segment sales rose Rs 19.58 crore to Rs 22.48 crore.
Profit before interest, tax and other unallocable items (PBIT) has jumped 20.87% to Rs 597.37 crore. PBIT of Branded Business segment rose 12.84% to Rs 501.30 crore (accounting for 83.92% of total PBIT). PBIT of Non Branded Business segment rose 92.33% to Rs 96.07 crore (accounting for 16.08% of total PBIT).
