Sika Interplant Systems

Sales up 82%, net up 23% hit by lower OPM and lower OI


'Consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of Sika Interplant Systems for the quarter ended Sep 2024 has increased 82.04% to Rs 33.24 crore.  Operating profit margin has declined from 21.08% to 20.67%, leading to 78.44% rise in operating profit to Rs 6.87 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 55.74% to 65.51%.   Employee cost decreased from 14.08% to 8.23%.   Other expenses fell from 7.91% to 5.63%.   

Other income fell 30.11% to Rs 1.3 crore.  PBIDT rose 43.08% to Rs 8.17 crore.  Provision for interest rose 150% to Rs 0.05 crore.  Loan funds remained nil.  Inventories rose to Rs 4.77 crore as of 30 September 2024 from Rs 4.13 crore as of 30 September 2023.  Sundry debtors were higher at Rs 21.90 crore as of 30 September 2024 compared to Rs 18.04 crore as of 30 September 2023.  Cash and bank balance declined ...
