'Consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of Rail Vikas Nigam for the quarter ended Jun 2024 has declined 26.88% to Rs 4073.8 crore. Operating profit margin has declined from 6.27% to 4.46%, leading to 48% decline in operating profit to Rs 181.53 crore. Employee cost increased from 0.84% to 1.15%. Other expenses rose from 92.90% to 94.39%. Other direct service cost rose from 92.19% to 93.14%.
Other income fell 6.63% to Rs 262.95 crore. PBIDT fell 29.53% to Rs 444.48 crore. Provision for interest fell 5.96% to Rs 137.34 crore.
PBDT fell 36.63% to Rs 307.14 crore. Provision for depreciation rose 25.27% to Rs 6.89 crore.
