Net sales (including other operating income) of Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care has increased 0.57% to Rs 937.03 crore. Operating profit margin has jumped from 12.70% to 28.41%, leading to 124.92% rise in operating profit to Rs 266.17 crore. Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) decreased from 18.42% to 17.08%. Purchase of finished goods cost fell from 24.14% to 21.03%. Employee cost decreased from 6.99% to 5.02%. Other expenses fell from 38.12% to 29.22%. Selling and administration expenses fell from 16.01% to 7.14%.
Other income up 5.20% to Rs 7.69 crore. PBIDT rose 117.95% to Rs 273.86 crore.
