'Consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of Polycab India for the quarter ended Jun 2024 has increased 20.79% to Rs 4698.03 crore. Operating profit margin has declined from 14.10% to 12.42%, leading to 6.35% rise in operating profit to Rs 583.38 crore. Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 69.80% to 70.87%. Purchase of finished goods cost fell from 3.98% to 3.07%. Employee cost decreased from 3.34% to 2.78%. Other expenses rose from 9.32% to 12.73%. Selling and administration expenses fell from 0.65% to 0.43%. Freight charges fell from 1.96% to 1.42%.
