'Net sales (including other operating income)
of Pidilite Industries has increased 5.16% to Rs 3234.91 crore aided by
underlying volume growth (UVG) of 8%. Demand for Consumer & Bazaar Products
(C&B) products was impacted by rains in the beginning of the quarter.
Consumer and Bazaar (C&B) UVG is 6% with rural markets continuing to
outpace urban markets. Business to Business (B2B) continued the growth momentum
with UVG of 21% driven by industrial and project verticals.
Sales of Consumer & Bazaar Products
segment has gone up 2.88% to Rs 2,580.50 crore (accounting for 78.22% of total
sales).
Sales of Business to Business
segment has gone up 14.35% to Rs 703.58 crore (accounting for 21.33% of total
sales). Sales of Others segment fell
16.86% to Rs 14.89 crore (accounting for 0.45% of total sales). Inter-segment sales came down from Rs 65.91
crore to Rs 64.06 crore.
