Petronet LNG

Lower throughput


'Net sales (including other operating income) of Petronet LNG has declined 11.44% to Rs 11879.86 crore.

During the current quarter ended 30th June, 2025, Dahej terminal processed 207 TBTU of LNG as against 189 TBTU during the previous quarter ended 31st March, 2025 and 248 TBTU during the corresponding quarter ended 30th June, 2024.

The overall LNG volume processed by the company in the current quarter was 220 TBTU, as against the LNG volume processed in the previous and corresponding quarters, which stood at 205 TBTU and 262 TBTU respectively.

Operating profit margin has declined from 11.65% to 9.76%, leading to 25.81% decline in operating profit to Rs 1,159.20 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 85.48% to 87.43%.   Employee cost increased from 0.43% to 0.54%.   Other expenses fell from 2.44% to 2.27%.
