1656.76 crorein Q3FY24 compared to Q3FY23.
Sales of Carbon Black segment has gone up 21.30% to Rs 1,614.96 crore
(accounting for 96.10% of total sales).
Sales of Power segment has gone up 32.26% to Rs 65.59 crore (accounting
for 3.90% of total sales). Inter-segment
sales rose Rs 17.69 crore to Rs 23.79 crore.
Profit
before interest, tax and other unallocable items (PBIT) has jumped 52.90% to Rs
293.88 crore.
PBIT of Carbon Black
segment rose 55.51% to Rs 252.40 crore (accounting for 85.89% of total
PBIT). PBIT of Power segment rose 38.73%
to Rs 41.48 crore (accounting for 14.11% of total PBIT).

margin of Carbon Black segment rose from 12.19% to 15.63%.
