'Net sales (including other operating income)
of P I Industries has increased 4.92% to Rs 2221 crore. Sales of Agro Chemicals segment has gone up
7% to Rs 2179.9 crore (accounting for 98% of total sales). Sales of Pharma segment has gone down 43% to
Rs 41.1 crore (accounting for 2% of total sales).
Domestic revenues were subdued with reduction
of 5% YoY due to reduced supply to institutional customers. Revenue of branded
products grew by 7% (Volume up 12%, Price down 5%). Biologicals products’
driving growth and revenue increased by 18% YoY.
Profit before interest, tax and other
unallocable items (PBIT) has jumped 29% to Rs 662.8 crore.
PBIT of Agro Chemicals segment rose 30% to Rs
717.9 crore (accounting for 108% of total PBIT). PBIT of Pharma segment reported loss of Rs
55.1 crore compared to loss of Rs 38.2 crore.
