'For quarter ending June 2024, consolidated Net sales (including other operating income) of Nelcast has increased 2.50% to Rs 300.1 crore compared to quarter ended June 2023. Operating profit margin has jumped from 6.61% to 6.73%, leading to 4.45% rise in operating profit to Rs 20.20 crore. Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) decreased from 46.52% to 42.97%. Employee cost increased from 5.85% to 6.56%. Other expenses rose from 41.10% to 43.48%. Power and Oil fuel cost fell from 10.62% to 9.83%.
Other income fell 38.40% to Rs 2.23 crore. PBIDT fell 2.31% to Rs 22.43 crore. Provision for interest rose 6.48% to Rs 8.38 crore.
