Natco Pharma

NP increased 59.05%


'For quarter ending June 2024, consolidated Net sales (including other operating income) of Natco Pharma has increased 19.47% to Rs 1362.6 crore compared to quarter ended June 2023. Sales of Pharmaceutical segment has gone up 23.37% to Rs 1,347.00 crore (accounting for 98.86% of total sales).  Sales of Agro Chemical segment has gone down 67.97% to Rs 15.60 crore (accounting for 1.14% of total sales).  

Profit before interest, tax and other unallocable items (PBIT) has jumped 60.41% to Rs 808.80 crore.  PBIT of Pharmaceutical segment rose 65.75% to Rs 828.60 crore (accounting for 102.45% of total PBIT).  PBIT of Agro Chemical reported loss of Rs 19.80 crore compared to profit of Rs 4.30 crore.  

PBIT margin of Pharmaceutical segment rose from 45.79% to 61.51%.  PBIT margin of Agro Chemical segment fell from 8.83% to 126.92%.  Overall PBIT margin rose from 44.21% to 59.36%.
