NP decreased 19.77%

'On consolidated basis

Quarter ended September 2024 compared with Quarter ended September 2023.

Net sales (including other operating income) of MRF has increased 10.68% to Rs 6881.09 crore.  Operating profit margin has declined from 18.61% to 14.70%, leading to 12.57% decline in operating profit to Rs 1,011.48 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 59.31% to 64.88%.   Employee cost decreased from 7.02% to 6.54%.   Other expenses fell from 15.28% to 14.65%.   

Other income rose 60.08% to Rs 113.21 crore.  PBIDT fell 8.39% to Rs 1124.69 crore.  Provision for interest fell 2.06% to Rs 83.78 crore.  Loan funds rose to Rs 3,138.20 crore as of 30 September 2024 from Rs 3,135.32 crore as of 30 September 2023.  Inventories rose to Rs 5,245.41 crore as of 30 September 2024 from Rs 4,051.93 crore as of 30 September 2023.&nb...
