'For quarter ending June 2024, consolidated Net sales (including other operating income) of MRF has increased 11.74% to Rs 7196.45 crore compared to quarter ended June 2023. Operating profit margin has declined from 17.54% to 16.11%, leading to 2.63% rise in operating profit to Rs 1,159.62 crore. Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 59.94% to 61.66%. Purchase of finished goods cost rose from 0.07% to 0.11%. Employee cost decreased from 6.73% to 6.46%. Other expenses rose from 15.35% to 15.42%.
Other income rose 12.52% to Rs 84.04 crore. PBIDT rose 3.25% to Rs 1243.66 crore. Provision for interest rose 0.53% to Rs 84.67 crore.
PBDT rose 3.45% to Rs 1158.99 crore. Provision for depreciation rose 18.85% to Rs 396.08 crore.
