KSB

Sales up 9%, net up 16%


'Consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of KSB has increased 9.41% to Rs 595.4 crore.  Operating profit margin has jumped from 11.19% to 11.37%, leading to 11.17% rise in operating profit to Rs 67.70 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) decreased from 50.12% to 48.17%.   Purchase of finished goods cost rose from 8.49% to 8.95%.   Employee cost increased from 13.62% to 14.62%.   Other expenses rose from 16.81% to 17.59%.   

Other income rose 19.05% to Rs 12.5 crore.  PBIDT rose 12.32% to Rs 80.2 crore.  Provision for interest fell 11.11% to Rs 0.8 crore.  

PBDT rose 12.62% to Rs 79.4 crore.  Provision for depreciation rose 7.75% to Rs 13.9 crore.  

Profit before tax grew 13.72% to Rs 65.50 crore.  Share of profit/loss was 66.67% higher at Rs 3.5 crore.  Provision for tax was expense of Rs...
