KSB

Sales up 9%, net up 23%


'Consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of KSB has increased 9.37% to Rs 616.5 crore.   Operating profit margin has jumped from 12.47% to 14.21%, leading to 24.61% rise in operating profit to Rs 87.60 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) decreased from 49.37% to 45.50%.   Purchase of finished goods cost rose from 7.68% to 10.68%.   Employee cost increased from 11.84% to 12.29%.   Other expenses fell from 18.87% to 18.01%.   

Other income fell 22.35% to Rs 6.6 crore.  PBIDT rose 19.54% to Rs 94.2 crore.  Provision for interest fell 70% to Rs 0.6 crore.  PBDT rose 21.87% to Rs 93.6 crore.  Provision for depreciation rose 11.38% to Rs 13.7 crore.  Profit before tax grew 23.88% to Rs 79.90 crore.  Share of profit/loss was 18.52% higher at Rs 3.2 crore.  Provision for tax was expense of Rs 21.4 crore, compared to ...
