Sales up 9%, net up 8%


'Consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of KSB for the quarter ended Jun 2024 has increased 9.25% to Rs 646 crore.  Operating profit margin has declined from 14.41% to 14.02%, leading to 6.34% rise in operating profit to Rs 90.60 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) decreased from 47.06% to 45.13%.   Purchase of finished goods cost rose from 10.04% to 10.86%.   Employee cost increased from 11.09% to 11.79%.   Other expenses rose from 17.66% to 18.08%.   Other income rose 17.28% to Rs 9.5 crore.  PBIDT rose 7.29% to Rs 100.1 crore.  Provision for interest fell 11.11% to Rs 0.8 crore.  PBDT rose 7.47% to Rs 99.3 crore.  Provision for depreciation rose 10.83% to Rs 13.3 crore.  Profit before tax grew 6.97% to Rs 86.00 crore.  Share of profit/loss was 44.44% higher at Rs 3.9 crore.  Provision for tax was expense of Rs 21...
