Sales up 20%, net up 9%


'Consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of KEI Industries for the quarter ended Dec 2024 has increased 19.81% to Rs 2467.27 crore.  Operating profit margin has declined from 10.42% to 9.76%, leading to 12.26% rise in operating profit to Rs 240.86 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 75.24% to 76.96%.   Purchase of finished goods cost rose from 0.06% to 0.09%.   Employee cost decreased from 3.22% to 2.98%.   Other expenses fell from 11.09% to 10.45%.   Expenses from contract fell from 1.03% to 0.82%.   Other income fell 3.95% to Rs 13.6 crore.  PBIDT rose 11.26% to Rs 254.46 crore.  Provision for interest rose 30.77% to Rs 14.28 crore.  PBDT rose 10.28% to Rs 240.18 crore.  Provision for depreciation rose 23.49% to Rs 18.98 crore.  Profit before tax grew 9.28% to Rs 221.20 crore.  Share of profit/loss w...
