'Consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of Jupiter Wagons for the quarter ended Mar 2024 has increased 56.72% to Rs 1115.41 crore. Operating profit margin has jumped from 12.96% to 13.21%, leading to 59.82% rise in operating profit to Rs 147.39 crore. Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 76.72% to 77.72%. Employee cost decreased from 1.62% to 1.45%. Other expenses fell from 8.44% to 7.48%.
Other income rose 1,045.54% to Rs 11.57 crore. PBIDT rose 70.50% to Rs 158.96 crore. Provision for interest rose 23.39% to Rs 10.76 crore. PBDT rose 75.36% to Rs 148.2 crore. Provision for depreciation rose 23.26% to Rs 7.63 crore.
