Indraprastha Gas

Lower operating profits


'Net sales (including other operating income) of Indraprastha Gas has increased 5.70% to Rs 3758.76 crore. 

Operating profit margin has declined from 15.81% to 9.63%, leading to 35.64% decline in operating profit to Rs 361.94 crore.  Purchase of finished goods cost rose from 71.60% to 78.31%.   Employee cost decreased from 1.66% to 1.36%.   Other expenses fell from 10.93% to 10.70%.  

Other income rose 61.99% to Rs 88.4 crore.  PBIDT fell 27% to Rs 450.34 crore.  Provision for interest rose 19.77% to Rs 2.12 crore. 

PBDT fell 27.13% to Rs 448.22 crore.  Provision for depreciation rose 19.38% to Rs 121.66 crore. 

Profit before tax down 36.37% to Rs 326.56 crore.&nbs...
