consolidated net sales increased 0.91% to Rs 2009.23 crore in Q3FY24 compared
to Q3FY23. Sales of Phenolics segment
has gone up 14.20% to Rs 1,349.33 crore (accounting for 66.68% of total sales). Sales of Advanced Intermediates segment has
gone down 17.54% to Rs 674.30 crore (accounting for 33.32% of total
sales). Inter-segment sales rose Rs 8.31
crore to Rs 14.40 crore.
Profit before
interest, tax and other unallocable items (PBIT) has slumped 0.38% to Rs 273.44
crore.
PBIT of Phenolics segment rose
41.53% to Rs 179.77 crore (accounting for 65.74% of total PBIT). PBIT of Advanced Intermediates segment fell
36.48% to Rs 93.67 crore (accounting for 34.26% of total PBIT).
