'Coromandel
International consolidated net sales declined 34.24% to Rs 5464.15 crore during
Q3FY24 compared to Q3FY23. Sales of
Nutrient & Other Allied Business segment has gone down 36.41% to Rs
4,902.66 crore (accounting for 88.85% of total sales). Sales of Crop Protection segment has gone
down 5.69% to Rs 615.44 crore (accounting for 11.15% of total sales). Inter-segment sales rose Rs 52.82 crore to Rs
53.95 crore.
Profit
before interest, tax and other unallocable items (PBIT) has slumped 56.79% to
Rs 336.23 crore.
PBIT of Nutrient &
Other Allied Business segment fell 63.91% to Rs 251.64 crore (accounting for
74.84% of total PBIT). PBIT of Crop
Protection segment rose 4.44% to Rs 84.59 crore (accounting for 25.16% of total
PBIT).
