Net up 14% thanks to higher sales and higher OI


'Consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of CMS Info Systems for the quarter ended Mar 2024 has increased 25.06% to Rs 627.08 crore.  Operating profit margin has declined from 28.74% to 24.78%, leading to 7.85% rise in operating profit to Rs 155.42 crore.  Purchase of finished goods cost rose from 4.41% to 19.16%.   Employee cost decreased from 13.23% to 13.03%.   Other expenses fell from 53.61% to 44.74%.   Selling and administration expenses fell from 27.67% to 24.07%.   Other income rose 139.70% to Rs 11.17 crore.  PBIDT rose 11.98% to Rs 166.59 crore.  Provision for interest fell 27.75% to Rs 4.01 crore.  PBDT rose 13.52% to Rs 162.58 crore.  Provision for depreciation rose 12.04% to Rs 39.73 crore.  Profit before tax grew 14% to Rs 122.85 crore.  Share of profit/loss were nil in both the periods.  Provision for tax was expense of Rs 31.43 crore, comp...
