Weak performance


'Standalone net sales (including other operating income) of Bayer CropScience has declined 6.23% to Rs 1,631.20 crore. 

Operating profit margin has declined from 24.41% to 19.25%, leading to 26.05% decline in operating profit to Rs 314.00 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 52.85% to 54.79%.   Purchase of finished goods cost fell from 3.40% to 3.31%.   Employee cost increased from 5.50% to 6.45%.   Other expenses rose from 13.23% to 15.10%.  

Other income up 32.85% to Rs 27.5 crore.  PBIDT fell 23.31% to Rs 341.5 crore.  Provision for interest fell 46.84% to Rs 4.2 crore.
