Axis Bank

Asset quality and margins improve, steady business growth


'Axis Bank has reported flat net profit at Rs 7117.50 crore for the quarter ended March 2025 (Q4FY2025). The bank has posted healthy 6% growth in net interest income (NII), while the core fee income of the bank also improved 13% in Q4FY2025. The Net Interest Margin (NIM) of the bank improved on sequential basis to 3.97% in Q4FY2025 from 3.93% in the previous quarter, while eased from 4.06% in the corresponding quarter of previous year.

On business front, the bank as has posted 9% growth in business with 8% increase in loan book. The asset quality of the bank has improved in Q4FY2025. Bank has reduced the credit to deposit ratio to 88.7% at end March 2025 from 90.3% at end March 2024. The CASA ratio of the bank has declined to 40.8% at end March 2025 from 43.0% at end March 2024.
