'On consolidated basis

Quarter ended March 2025 compared with Quarter ended March 2024.

Net sales (including other operating income) of Ashok Leyland has increased 8.52% to Rs 14695.55 crore.  Sales of Commercial Vehicle segment has gone up 6.42% to Rs 12,926.68 crore (accounting for 87.96% of total sales).  Sales of Financial Service segment has gone up 23.59% to Rs 1,769.34 crore (accounting for 12.04% of total sales).  Inter-segment sales came down from Rs 1.16 crore to Rs 0.47 crore.  

Profit before interest, tax and other unallocable items (PBIT) has jumped 3.66% to Rs 1,700.02 crore.  PBIT of Commercial Vehicle segment rose 2.70% to Rs 1,388.98 crore (accounting for 81.70% of total PBIT).  PBIT of Financial Service segment rose 8.13% to Rs 311.04 crore (accounting for 18.30% of total PBIT).  

PBIT margin of Commercial Vehicle segment fell from 11.13% to 10.75%.  ...
