'On consolidated basis

Quarter ended December 2024 compared with Quarter ended December 2023.

Net sales (including other operating income) of Ashok Leyland has increased 8.14% to Rs 11995.21 crore.  Sales of Commercial Vehicle segment has gone up 5.79% to Rs 10,423.93 crore (accounting for 86.90% of total sales).  Sales of Financial Services segment has gone up 29.62% to Rs 1,571.31 crore (accounting for 13.10% of total sales).  Inter-segment sales came down from Rs 0.10 crore to Rs 0.03 crore.  

Profit before interest, tax and other unallocable items (PBIT) has jumped 12.76% to Rs 1,152.52 crore.  PBIT of Commercial Vehicle segment rose 8.88% to Rs 920.94 crore (accounting for 79.91% of total PBIT).  PBIT of Financial Services segment rose 31.36% to Rs 231.58 crore (accounting for 20.09% of total PBIT).  

PBIT margin of Commercial Vehicle segment rose from 8.58% to 8.83%. ...
