'For the quarter ending March 2024, consolidated Net sales (including other operating income) of Ajanta Pharma has increased 19.53% to Rs 1054.08 crore compared to quarter ended March 2023.  Operating profit margin has jumped from 16.94% to 26.40%, leading to 86.33% rise in operating profit to Rs 278.32 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) decreased from 25.71% to 23.78%.   Purchase of finished goods cost rose from 3.24% to 3.71%.   Employee cost decreased from 24.79% to 21.44%.   Other expenses fell from 29.70% to 25.51%.   

Other income fell 3.61% to Rs 35.5 crore.  PBIDT rose 68.54% to Rs 313.82 crore.  Provision for interest rose 35.40% to Rs 1.53 crore.  Loan funds declined from Rs 35.63 crore as of 31 March 2023 to Rs 35.28 crore as of 31 March 2024.  Inventories rose to Rs 828.36 crore as of 31 March 2024 from Rs 815.63 crore as ...
