AIA Engineering

Net down 21% on weak operating show

'Consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of AIA Engineering for the quarter ended Sep 2024 has declined 19.35% to Rs 1044.21 crore.  Operating profit margin has declined from 29.51% to 26.40%, leading to 27.85% decline in operating profit to Rs 275.68 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) decreased from 39.99% to 37.85%.   Employee cost increased from 3.48% to 4.71%.   Other expenses rose from 25.87% to 29.58%.   Power and Oil fuel cost fell from 7.10% to 6.83%.   Freight charges rose from 5.68% to 5.95%.   

Other income rose 44.58% to Rs 90.1 crore.  PBIDT fell 17.70% to Rs 365.78 crore.  Provision for interest fell 28.98% to Rs 5.27 crore.   PBDT fell 17.51% to Rs 360.51 crore.  Provision for depreciation fell 3.79% to Rs 23.58 crore.   Profit before tax down 18.32% to Rs 336.93 crore.  Share of prof...
