OP up 24.18%


'For the quarter ending Dec 2023, standalone Net sales (including other operating income) of Abbott India has increased 8.69% to Rs 1,437.14 crore compared to quarter ended Dec 2022.  Operating profit margin has jumped from 23.61% to 26.98%, leading to 24.18% rise in operating profit to Rs 387.69 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) decreased from 11.43% to 8.07%.   Purchase of finished goods cost rose from 39.41% to 46.24%.   Employee cost decreased from 11.52% to 9.63%.   Other expenses fell from 11.06% to 9.23%.   

Other income up 25.73% to Rs 55.61 crore.  PBIDT rose 24.37% to Rs 443.3 crore.  Provision for interest fell 16.36% to Rs 3.17 crore.  

PBDT rose 24.81% to Rs 440.13 crore.  Provision for depreciation rose 0.90% to Rs 17.97 crore.
