ABB India

Sales up 3%, net up 3%


'Standalone net sales (including other operating income) of ABB India for the quarter ended Mar 2025 has increased 2.57% to Rs 3,159.56 crore.  Operating profit margin has jumped from 18.35% to 18.43%, leading to 3.02% rise in operating profit to Rs 582.27 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) decreased from 49.46% to 48.67%.   Purchase of finished goods cost fell from 8.30% to 7.99%.   Employee cost increased from 7.08% to 7.52%.   Other expenses rose from 17.06% to 17.96%.   Contract job process charges rose from 2.55% to 2.92%.   

Other income up 5.96% to Rs 92.33 crore.  PBIDT rose 3.42% to Rs 674.6 crore.  Provision for interest up 23.62% to Rs 4.71 crore.  PBDT rose 3.30% to Rs 669.89 crore.  Provision for depreciation rose 7.45% to Rs 33.76 crore.  Profit before tax grew 3.09% to Rs 636.13 crore.  Provision for tax was exp...
