Commenced operations of 4th amusement park at Bhubaneshwar

Wonderla Holidays held a conference call on 30 July 2024 to discuss the results for the quarter ended June 2024 and way forward. Mr. Arun Chittilappilly, Managing Director and Mr. Saji K Louiz, Chief Financial Officer of the company addressed the call.

Highlights of the Concall

  • The company has commenced operations of 4th amusement park at Bhubaneshwar, Odisha. This remarkable new destination stands over 50 acres. New Bhubaneswar Park saw a footfall of about 70,000. ARPU (average revenue per user) was around Rs 1300. The company expect that it will take about a 1-1.5 years to stabilize the new park.

  • The company is expecting footfalls of roughly about 4.5 lakhs for the first year for Bhubaneshwar park and it should grow in double digits for the first 2-3 years. It expect to get to about 7-8 lakh visitors in about 4-5 years
