Uco Bank

Target loan growth of 12-14% for FY2025


'Uco Bank conducted a conference call on 21 January 2024 to discuss the financial results for the quarter ended December 2024. Ashwani Kumar, MD & CEO of the company addressed the call:

 

Highlights:

The bank has recorded 12% growth in the business volumes to Rs 4.89 lakh crore end December 2024, driven by strong 16% growth in advances to Rs 2.09 crore.

Within the loan book, the retail advances jumped 31% with strong growth in home loans 19% and vehicle loans 52%.

Agriculture loan book also moved up 20% and MSME advances expanded 13% end December 2024. Further, the corporate loans grew 14% end December 2024.

The deposits of the bank increased 9% to Rs 2.8 lakh crore end December 2024.

The bank has maintained a stable CASA deposit ratio of 38% with healthy growth in saving deposits at 6% and current deposits jumped 26%.

The bank has posted 27% jump in the net profit to Rs 639 crore ...
