Strong performance fueled by surge in scooter sales

TVS Motor Company hosted a conference call on April 28, 2025. In the conference call, the company was represented by: Mr K N Radhakrishnan – Director and Chief Executive Officer, and Mr K Gopala Desikan – Chief Financial Officer.

Key takeaways of the call

In FY25, the company posted its highest ever revenue. The overall two and three-wheeler sales grew 13% YoY to 47.44 Lakh units as against 41.91 Lakh units in FY24.

Motorcycles sales during FY25 grew by 10% YoY recording 21.95 Lakh units as against 19.90 Lakh unit in FY24. Scooter sales grew by 21% YoY at 19.04 Lakh units as against 15.70 Lakh units. Electric vehicles grew by 44% YoY registering sales of 2.79 Lakh units in FY25 as against 1.94 Lakh units in FY24.

The company now has more than five lakh delighted EV customers. Three-wheeler sales for FY25 is at 1.35 Lakh units as against 1.46 Lakh units in the year ende...
