Q4 FY25 performance impacted by OLA’s in-house production shift for Gen3 models

Key takeaways of the call

The company, through its subsidiary Sterling Gtake Electro Mobility (SGEM), has ventured into the development, manufacturing, and marketing of rare earth magnet-free traction motors for electric vehicles. To support this initiative, the company has signed a technology licensing agreement with Advanced Electric Machines (AEM), UK, for manufacturing these motors at its Faridabad facility. Advanced Electric Machines was founded in 2017, when it was spun out from Newcastle University’s world-class electric motor research team, led by AEM’s CEO, Dr James Widmer, and CTO, Dr Andy Steven.
