SBFC Finance

Expects to improve RoE to 15% by end of FY2026


'SBFC Finance conducted a conference call on 27 January 2025 to discuss its financial results for the quarter ended December 2024. Aseem Dhru, MD&CEO of the company addressed the call:

Highlights:

The company has posted 6% qoq and 30% yoy growth in AUM increased to Rs 8148 crore end December 2024.

About 99% of the assets are secured by property and gold.

The company has added 5 branches taking the branch count to 197 branches end December 2024.

The opex to AUM ratio has improved to 4.62% in 9MFY2025.

The GNPA ratio was steady at 2.7% end December 2024, while 1 + DPD book rose marginally to 6.52%.

PCR ratio stands at 40.2% and CRAR ratio is strong at 38.4% end December 2024.

The AUM growth is 30% while the core operating profit has grown at faster pace of 38% driven by improvement in the operating efficiency reflected in reduction in the cost in the ratio from 45% to 40%.
